Film Title:  Forrest Gump
Starring:  Tom Hanks, Robin Wright Penn, Gary Senise
Director:  Robert Zemeckis
Genre:  Drama
Approx Length:  142 minutes
Rating of the film, F- [worst] to A [best].:  A++++++++++
Short description/summary of the film:  The story follows the life of low I.Q. Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) and his meeting with the love of his life Jenny. The film chronicles his accidental experiences with some of the most important people and events in America from the late 1950's through the 1970's including a meeting with Elvis Presley, JFK, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, fighting in Vietnam, etc. The problem is, he's too stupid to realize the significance of his actions. Forrest becomes representative of the baby boomer generation having walked through life blindly.

My thoughts:  This has got to be one of my all time favorite movies in the history of movies.  It's amazing and it never ceases to make me cry even though I've seen it a million times.  Tom Hanks does an AMAZING job playing Forrest, Gary Senise is amazing as Lt. Dan, and I always start out not really liking Jenny much, but in the end ... amazing movie !

Next to View:  not a clue right now, but it'll be when something good is on cable or we get a new DVD player =/
